If you've been looking for files for your Maximus BBS, here's a few internet sites to choose from. Some are "Maximus specific", others may carry files for Max, BBS doors, or other BBS related software. Check 'em out!

Home page for Lanius Corp., the publisher of Maximus and Squish
link ftp.juge.com
Bob Juge's FTP site. Bob has many Maximus related files here, with a particular slant towards OS/2 Comm files. A great place to check out. (Note: Bob only allows 10 anonymous logins at a time, so there's a good chance you'll have to keep trying to get in here, but it's worth it.)
link SimTel.Net's /MSDOS/BBS Directory
Many DOS BBS-related files, some for Maximus, most general in nature.
link Hobbes OS/2
Hobbes is much like SimTel, but for the OS/2 BBS operator. Probably the best OS/2 repository available!

Maximus Support on Fidonet

There are four "official" Maximus message echos available on Fidonet, relating to Maximus or Squish support. They are:

  • MUFFIN - Maximus Support
  • MECCA - MECCA and MEX Language Support
  • TUB - Squish Echomail Processor Support
  • MAXDEV - Maximus/Squish 3rd Party Development/Support

    If you run a Fidonet BBS, please contact your uplink about carrying these echos.
