These are utilities and add-ons for Maximus that many sysops feel are "essential" to improving and enhancing their Maximus BBS systems. Try them and see if you agree. (Some are "Max-Specific", some aren't.)

MultiMail, a free (GNU) offline reader. Does QWK and Blue Wave packets, and comes in DOS, OS/2, Linux and other flavors. (This is a link to the home page. Get the flavor you want from there.) This reader appears to be Y2K-OK.
