The Company

Lanius (formerly SCI Communications) was founded in 1990 to develop, distribute and support telecommunications-related software. Lanius now has major corporate customers in over 35 countries around the world.

Our primary business activity is software development, with products geared towards the corporate and governmental markets, but we occasionally perform customizations and contract work in related fields. We also make some of our products freely available to noncommercial users.

Lanius is a privately-held Canadian corporation.

The Products

Lanius specializes in telecommunications-related software for OS/2, Windows NT and Windows 95. Our most widely-known product is Maximus, a computer bulletin board system (BBS). Follow this link for more information on Maximus and our other products.
