There are 17,652 files listed. The original website suffered a hard drive crash and lost a bunch of files. Most have been recovered from NightOwl and Dr. Shareware CDs, filegate.net, textfiles.com, bbsdocumentary.com, RoySAC.com, and Carsten's PPE Collection by comparing both file names and file sizes to the BBS Archives listings. Only 295 files remain missing.
