The Association of Online Professionals (AOP) is the international professional association for individuals who plan, manage and maintain remote-access, computer-based communication systems, as well as the companies and professionals who support these professionals. Its mission is to foster the growth of the online communications industry through service to members, legislative support and representation,and the creation of opportunities for professional growth and development.
Founded in 1994 by four visionary companies in the online industry, AOP today has more than 1,000 members on five continents -- including Internet Service Providers, Internet Presence Providers, Content Providers, BBS System Operators, Webmasters, Corporate IT professionals, forum leaders on AOL, Compuserve, Prodigy, MSN and Delphi, and companies that provide products and services to these professionals.
AOP is the largest international professional association for the online community, providing news, information, opportunities and services to the people who make online communication possible.
