MURRAY, Utah - Nov. 8, 1996 - Clark Technologies, a division of Clark Development Corporation, today announced a license agreement with Hayes Microcomputer Products, Inc. Under terms of the agreement, Hayes Microcomputer will bundle and distribute Clark Technologies’ MetaWorlds Internet server software with certain Hayes remote access hardware products.

MetaWorlds is an Internet/Intranet server software package that was designed to leverage standard Internet protocols allowing the creation and maintenance of Internet servers that can be accessed with any standard internet client application. End-users can read and write messages, transfer files and otherwise use the MetaWorlds server no matter what operating system they use.

Clark’s newest product, MetaWorlds, is a standards-based Internet server software package that combines easy Internet access with the groupware functionality of a BBS.
Hayes will distribute MetaWorlds on compact disc that will be bundled with certain Hayes modems and other remote access hardware products. The bundled products will be available first quarter 1997.
MetaWorlds will be demonstrated at Fall COMDEX , November 18-22, in Clark Technologies booth H-822 in the Hayes Partners' Pavilion, as well as in Hayes booth L-4530 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
MetaWorlds will also be distributed under the Clark Technologies label and will be available in Personal, Community or Enterprise Server packages, with prices at $99, $249 and $499, respectively. Developer kits will also be available.

or $45. If they wanted a combination of all three the price would be $60
total.
